B2B Media Team: What We Love This Summer

From the oversized jackets to floral tennis shoes, this is what the B2B Media team love this summer!

Au Jour Le Jour for Colmar

I’m normally a head to toe black everyday kind of girl, but to switch things up for the season I am going to start introducing bold colours to my wardrobe, to add an extra dimension of style . My favourite piece from our brands has to be the red quilted skirt from the Au Jour Le Jour for Colmar collection. It’s a cute statement piece and I like the quilting which is an unusual feature on a S|S piece. The heritage looking boat patch adds a nice element of branded interest. I’d wear this with a simple white tee or body suit and pair with heeled mules, because heels are life!

AI Riders On The Storm Sky Blue Jacket

My personal style is quite laid back, oversized and relaxed, so for these reasons I absolutely love wearing menswear pieces – especially t-shirts and outerwear. I love this AI menswear piece as it’s got a real utilitarian feel, due to the pocket detailing, without being too masculine, as it’s coloured in a soft, sky blue hue. I’d definitely wear this to a festival with a pair of chunky boots, vintage denim shorts and a slogan t-shirt.

Bensimon Liberty Print Tennis Shoes

One of those occasions where I wish that they produced the shoes in my size. The Bensimon Liberty Print limited edition, with their eye-catching floral and fauna, play to my love of all things print. These easy to wear pumps are timeless, comfortable and will add a little element of Summer Garden Party to any outfit. I would team them with a pair of faded cut off Levi’s, soft marl T-shirt and a pitcher of Pimms. They can as easily be thrown on with one of the many multi-print tea and maxi dresses that have been the style of the season, from Rixo, through to Richard Quinn, giving an added pop of interest to an outfit during the sunnier months.

Parajumpers Black Leather Jacket

Timeless and versatile, I love the black leather jacket from Parajumpers which is classic in style and an exceptional fit. The quality of the brand shines through with the simplicity of the piece, which has intelligent craftsmanship which is something that I always think is the most difficult to produce. Parajumpers is always beautifully made and this jacket is no exception. A good leather jacket is an investment piece that a look can be built around, I would dress the jacket up with a mixture of thrift and designer pieces to create a complimentary silhouette, with subtle nods to the trends of the season.

ANZ Retro Kicks Cardigan

I love the ANZ knits, with cardigans being so on trend this season this would make an invaluable addition to my wardrobe. The cantaloupe colour with its graphic, tactile pattern pays homage to the greats of Hip Hop, yesteryear and would work perfectly thrown over a vest and mini skirt. I like relaxed looks that can be as easily worn to a festival as they can for after work cocktails with friends. This timeless knit would make a great addition to any wardrobe and as a unisex piece styled differently by both men and women.

AI Riders On The Storm Fancy Jacket

My role as Social Media Manager at B2B Media means I have to be on the move throughout the day, taking photos, meeting with influencers and clients.  I like to keep my morning routine simple, as a late riser I favour easy to wear pieces that can be thrown on in advance of heading to the office. I tend to keep my outfits relaxed and fairly casual, yet stylish. This AI Riders On The Storm Fancy Jacket hits all of my wardrobe likes. Paired with a white T-shirt, boyfriend jeans and a pair of Vans for a laid-back everyday look, the interesting, bold print speaks volumes so that the rest of my outfit can comprise of staple pieces. I wore the jacket to the Wireless Festival this year slightly dressed up with a bralet and mini skirt, which got me a lot of compliments throughout the day!
