On the first Wednesday of the month, B2B Media Ltd PR London returned to The Yard Shoreditch for their AW19 Press Day.
The seasonal event, organised in partnership with IPR, took place in the spacious warehouse space decorated with bright spotlights and minimalistic details, perfect to enhance the individuality of each brand.
The collections were carefully hung, steamed and merchandised ahead of the big day, accompanied by their respective press releases, look books and other useful literature.
Upon arrival, the guests were greeted by a coffee cart offering a selection of free hot drinks – from classic breakfast tea to oat milk cappuccinos. Inside the venue, they were also treated to a lavish buffet of pastries, fresh fruit, cheeses and cakes, all arranged in a beautiful display with candles and flowers.
The day saw a number of attendees from all of the major fashion publications – along with influencers, freelancers and other industry tastemakers – make their way to Shoreditch to view the upcoming collections from Parajumpers, Colmar, Blauer, OneTeaspoon and Seasalt.
Taking inspiration from Alaska, Parajumpers’ AW19 line offered a line of technical winter jackets in a variety of shades, while the historic Italian brand Colmar took it back to the 70’s by revisiting some archive pieces in their country’s colours: green, white and red.
Blauer brought some American authenticity with their leather and bomber jackets, while cult label OneTeaspoon stuck to their signature rocker-chic vibe with denim and utility suits. Lastly, Stephanie Rosewarne from Seasalt travelled all the way from Cornwall to join us and share her knowledge of the brand.
As always, the event proved to be a success, providing an amazing opportunity to chat with members of the press (old and new) and to showcase all that our brands have to offer.
