With Summer around the corner now is the perfect time to start building your warm weather wardrobe. From Bright Neon’s to Smart Tailoring these are the Summer trends the B2B Media Team is loving.
Although I am a sucker for a beige colour palette, I am in love with this season’s neon trend! From head to toe neon, in maxi dresses and co-ords, to adding a fluorescent layered look with neon coats and jackets, my Instagram feed, along with the streets of London, have brightened up for the better.
I love a simple trend, which is why I was so happy to see the return of the boiler suit this season! Super comfy yet so flattering and ridiculously easy to pull off, you can’t go wrong. There are so many different boiler suits out there to fit every summer occasion, both formal or informal. You really can’t go wrong with this trend and I hope it’s here to stay…
Summers in London are always unpredictable so wearing a lightweight waterproof is ideal and can be stylish. Colmar’s packable ones are particularly good as they are handy, and the bag can be used as a fashion statement.
I’m loving short suits at the moment! Like most trends, they are a throwback to the 90’s which makes them feel a bit nostalgic while also remaining contemporary. They’re also a good alternative for summer work events, if you’re someone (like me) who doesn’t wear dresses and skirts.
Summer for me should be all about colour and embracing pattern. I have always enjoyed the mismatched and the “it shouldn’t really work” approach to fashion, which can be perfectly deployed using a variety of prints. I like layering in summer, which also lends itself to the trend, that I think was best executed at Versace (isn’t it always).
My favourite trend for this summer has to be puffed sleeves, and the Scandi designers really nail the trend perfectly. With the larger than life sleeves featuring on tops, dresses, jumpsuits and my personal favourite, cardigans. A puff sleeved cardigan worn with high waisted shorts and strappy sandals is going to be my look for the season.
As a casual girl, I am loving this seasons logo trend! From the high fashion monogram to the street style favourite Off-White, highlighting the clothing brand is a great way to elevate your casual wardrobe. Parajumpers does this perfectly and in a simple yet eye-catching way.
